What kind of life do you truly deserve?

For many of us, there is a deep-rooted belief that we don’t deserve love, happiness and success. A large number of us are under the impression that we aren’t worthy enough of good things; so therefore, we believe we are supposed to suffer.

If you feel that you don’t deserve love, you will inadvertently push love away. If you truly believe that you deserve punishment, the chances of finding happiness will be unlikely. If deep down in your soul, you believe that you are unworthy of success, then you will make choices that sabotage any chance of improvement.

If you don’t feel deserving, you’ll find every way to forbid yourself to have “it” (whatever “it” is). Feeling undeserving creates resistance to positive change. This experience is a vicious cycle.

Therapy teaches you how to break free from this cycle and learn to accept your worth. When we take responsibility for everything that happens in our lives, we give ourselves the power to change our life for the better.
