The voice in your head.

Everyone seems to have a voice inside their head that criticizes them for making unwise choices. This voice is ONLY helpful when you use these thoughts to help you make better decisions about the future.

For many of us, it is easy to beat up on ourselves. We spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about things we’ve done wrong, how we’ve screwed up, how we are not enough, bad decisions we’ve made or how we haven’t accomplished what we want to accomplish.

Since our quality of life is a direct reflection of our thoughts, where does berating ourselves leave us?

If you consume yourself with miserable thoughts from the past that can’t be undone, do you really think it’s possible to find the courage to get over it?

Ruminating regularly often leads to depression. So if you’re prone to obsessing, (you know who you are) it’s time to make some changes.

You have survived everything life has thrown at you thus far and a lot of it has been really, really tough. But so are you. You’ve done some great things in your life and have some truly wonderful achievements. And there will be more.

Even on the days when you feel like you’re doing your best and you still can’t win, you’re doing a great job. You are made up of goals and aspirations. It’s time to go get them. You are full of possibility and potential. You are fiercely living your life and that is something to be proud of every step of the way.

Believing in your greatness is what inspires you to find solutions and make things better. Believe in your importance and your worth and be proud of who you are!

So pick your head up Princess. Adjust that crown. And own it.

Take the next step.
