Put down the phone and slowly back away.

In this hectic world, it’s easy to get caught up in “stuff”. We get lost in ourselves and our busy and oftentimes repetitive day-to-day lives. We stay connected through our smartphones by texting, emailing and using social networks. We habitually check them because it helps us to feel connected.

This way of thinking is indeed a great way to make much of your life a lot more miserable and limited than necessary. The key to solving this problem is of course to live as much as you can in the only moment that you ever really live in and control. This moment is right now. Now, put down your phone and live in the moment.
