What you believe about yourself matters.

If you don’t believe you are worthy of good things, you will act accordingly. For instance, if you believe you are not worthy of love, you will act as though you are unworthy of it; seeking out people who treat you in a manner that is less than you deserve.

If you believe you are an outsider, you will act as if you are an outsider; making sure you never form close relationships with others.

If you currently struggle with low self-worth, you CAN change it. Therapy helps you with this very personal and often complex process. Improving your sense of worth takes motivation and commitment. There is no magic formula to healthy self-worth, but you do have to want it and you do have to choose to make a conscious effort to improve it.
