A little pile of happiness.

We’ve all been there. We feel lost. We feel sad. We feel hurt. We feel stuck in a routine. Stagnant. We keep spinning our wheels. We have problems we are trying to solve, fears we are trying to conquer and mistakes we are trying to sort out. We are just trying to survive.

But here’s the thing… you don’t need to solve all of your life’s problems. You just need to add good things to your life and let your pile of good things grow.

Start thinking about all the little things you love to do and start doing them. Start spending time with people you enjoy. Start living in the moment. Start appreciating the things you do have. Start looking for the silver linings. Start choosing differently, for your own well-being. Start meaningful activities. Start forgiving yourself. Start giving yourself quiet time. Start listening to your inner voice. Start nurturing important relationships. Start focusing on the possibilities.

Happiness is often found when and where you decide to look for it. Little pieces of happiness are not hard to find if you look around. But if you’re not looking for them, unhappiness is just as easy to find. If we take little steps every day and practice, we can make great improvements in our lives.

Just start.

Tell me your story.
